Winery Magaza
The “Magaza” Winery was founded in 1946 in the village of Velika Drenova.
Shortly after its construction in 1947, the winery building was nationalized. As a result, the production of wine and brandy was halted until 1957, when the cellar was officially returned to the Milanović family. On the foundations of the old cellar, a new winery emerged and was officially registered in 2015 as the family-owned “Magaza” Winery.
The cellar has a processing capacity of 20,000 liters of wine, and the grapes are harvested from vineyards covering 3.5 hectares. The vineyards are located in the village of Mala Drenova, on two separate sites. At the “Lipnica” location (280 meters above sea level), Merlot and Chardonnay varieties are grown, while at the “Vinik” location (290 meters above sea level), the White Tamjanika variety is cultivated.
The winery can accommodate up to 15 visitors.
