“Pečenjijada”, Roasted pork and lamb festival in Stopanja
Stopanja village near Trstenik, with the most pork roasters (place where pork is roasted) per capita, deservedly took the title as the roasted pork and lamb Capital.
Festival celebrating roasted pork – the second manifestation “ROASTED PORK AND LAMB FESTIVAL IN STOPANJA” will be held from 7th until 9th, September. Beside food, the visitors can expect a rich cultural-artistic program: Jelena Tomasevic, Mira Skoric, Kvadro Band, trumpet players with Bojan Krstic as a lead player, Atomsko Skloniste, local rock bands, various cultural-artistic societies and many others. On Saturday, 8th of September in morning hours, “Zikina Sarenica” will be live on TV directly from Stopanja.
